Team Building Ideas are a team of independent thinkers with expertise in marketing and sales management, creativity facilitation, corporate coaching and team energising. Team Building Ideas is lead by Mark Hemmings and Jenny Hemmings. We specialise in team energising and creativity facilitation for your business, team or organisation. We offer a hub of creativity, providing you with tools, processes, programs and support to help your business achieve amazing results through your people.
No matter what size of team you have or aspire to have, we have the focus, skill and enthusiasm to support you to achieve your goals - we help you play, create, achieve.
We are a group of optimists who believe we can use our collective brains to develop bigger insights and ideas for our clients teams than any one person can do on their own. You see, we believe that if it "ain't" broken, break it and in so doing you might work out how to make it bigger, better, faster. We have the constant thought that clearly says “there must be a better way”.

Our Team Leaders
Jenny Hemmings
Jenny Hemmings is a qualified marketing professional who has worked for ‘Blue Chip’ multinational companies such as Fisher and Paykel Healthcare, Boots Healthcare International, Pharmacia and Upjohn (now Johnson & Johnson) and Roche Consumer Health. She has managed dozens of brands across a wide range of categories including well known brands such as Strepsils, Savlon, Sugarine, Regaine/Rogaine, Elevit and Natures Way Vitamins.
Marketing awards include:
- 1998 - Australian Pharmacy OTC Product of the Year - Regaine
- 1998 - Best PR Campaign – OTC products – Regaine Extra Strength Launch
- 1999 - NSW Multicultural Marketing Award – Big Business Category – Regaine
- 1999 - NSW Multicultural Marketing Award – Supreme Award – Regaine ES
- 2002 - Australian Pharmacy OTC (Over the Counter) Product of the Year – Elevit
- 2002 - Best Product Launch - Roche Consumer Health – Elevit (3 awards given within Roche worldwide)
Jenny saw the light and moved back to NZ in 2004 after 20 years living and working in Sydney and Melbourne.
Mark Hemmings
Mark has spend the last 20 years working at the senior management level within major blue-chip multinational organisations as Colgate Palmolive, Warner Lambert, Boots Healthcare and Cadbury Confectionery. In this time Mark has successfully led the sales and "culture" agenda of the organisation with a challenging, creative and emotionally intelligent approach.
As a trainer and coach, Mark has had significant impact on the attitude and achievement of sales teams, individuals and businesses, leading them to levels of achievement beyond that which they believed they were capable.
Mark has significant experience in:
- strategic planning
- sales training development and facilitation
- creativity and innovation workshops
- team development
- personal and team coaching
Mark's management skills have been awarded many times from within these organisations both from a peer and management perspective. He has a belief that everything is achievable and this belief is incredibly infectious.
Mark is an Australian (don't hold that against him) and moved to New Zealand in 2004.
